miami-book-fairI’LL BE IN MIAMI, BITCH!

Yes, I’m visiting sunny, holy-shit-it’s-a-category-5 South Florida from sunny, shakin’-and-quakin’ So. Cali.
(Listen to my new theme song)

I’ll be in town November 11-16th
Wednesday through Monday

On Friday, the Street Fair for the 26th Annual Miami Book Fair gets under way. The highlight of the Street Fair is the Festival of Authors with more than 350 authors reading and discussing their work.

If you want to connect, call me on the cell (949-874-8558). I’ll be here. Of course, I plan to be wandering around accosting authors who are trapped in their booths and can’t escape my questions: What’s the best Cuban restaurant in Miami? What writing groups are farthest away from places where I may be attacked by tiny men in silk shirts and gold chains gators? Where can I learn to salsa dance and play the conga drums? And where is the best place to live so I don’t get kidnapped by Columbian druglords and sold into sex slavery manual labor.

Join me for the adventure!

  1. Annette,

I like your stuff. I recently broke up with someone that really felt like the guy I liked the most of ANY of them (i’m reluctant to use soulmate). I met this man in the last two months of my marriage. I left my marriage while I was involved with him. anyway he broke up with me after I was totally free. the rest of the details dont matter to anyone but me. i mean i have only liked one other man like this among the 10 relationships i have had. tell me I’ll find someone i like this much. i never even meet any men, married or otherwise, as interesting as this man was. he was very unique. just lie to me and tell me there is hope to meet someone this unique and interesting and complex.

  2. Claudine, The best advice I can give is to sit down and make “The List.” On page 85 of my book, I shared my list of what I wanted in a perfect mate. My husband is all that and more. I believe that when you commit to the things that are important to you, put them on paper, and use it as a guide when you begin dating someone new, it will help you weed out the guys who are not right for you and help you to focus on what you do want. Don’t ever settle for less than what you deserve. The universe will expand to meet your expectations. =)
